Due to the dates of this years
overnight trip of April 12 thru 15 (still considered
High Season), the Chelsea House
(last year’s accommodations) will not be giving a discounted room rate.
However, I’ve checked several other options, and they are still the best
price FOR WHAT THEY OFFER – free parking in a parking lot, not on the
road; continental breakfast; and biggest perk…walking distance to Duval
Street. There are probably hotels with cheaper per-night rates, but will
not be walking distance. The rates are:

When you call to make
reservations, specify that want
Chelsea House (they own 4 properties, and you’ll need to specify if
you want the same place as the group);
specify if you have a problem
with climbing stairs, as this is an old Key West “house”…some rooms are
located upstairs, so tell them if that’s a problem;
also specify that you are with Old
Town Chapter – no discounted rate, but it helps them to know that you
are with a group.
When calling for reservations, you will need to give
one nights’ rate as a deposit, and they will explain the cancellation
policy.
