OVERNIGHT RIDES FOR 2010!

Norton’s Ride – 9/16 thru 9/20 - HRC Greg Smith
We will ride for 14 hours on Thursday, September 16th. Our hub will be a great Best Western hotel on the Tuskegee River in Dillsboro, North Carolina. It has an indoor heated pool & hot tub, and an exercise room. A nice continental breakfast. There is a balcony off the lobby overlooking the river for us all to socialize in the evenings. And, all of our rooms are river view with a balcony.
Friday, September 17th we will ride to view a waterfall in the morning, then we will ride thru great back roads up onto the Blue Ridge Parkway to Maggie Valley. We will eat lunch at Wheels Thru Time Museum. After lunch we will get a guided tour thru the museum. If you don't know about this place go to the website, it's truly one of a kind. Entry fee is $10:00 per person. After we leave the museum we will take a ride thru farm country and back to the Hotel.
Saturday, September 18th & Sunday, September 19th are a secret, but I promise, if you like riding in the mountains you won't go home disappointed.
Monday, September 20th we will ride home.Call the Best Western 828-586-6060 and mention Old Town Chapter when making your reservation. We have 10 rooms reserved.
Rates are $109.00 for 2 persons & $10.00 additional for each extra person.
Rooms are 2 queen beds w/refrigerator & balcony over looking the river.
